Affinity Groups

In Spring of 2018, Mississippi State University launched four affinity groups to link faculty and staff by common interests, purposes, or ideologies. The OIDI Affinity Groups play a vital role in ensuring an inclusive environment where all are valued, included, and empowered to succeed.  Additionally, the groups provide a collective voice for faculty and staff with common interests, and are affiliated with and can receive funding support from the Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion (OIDI).

Current Affinity Groups include:

Young Professionals

Provides faculty and staff in their early career with opportunities to develop socially, professionally, and civically.

Professionals of Color

An opportunity for MSU's people of color to network, share experiences, and develop professionally, socially, and civically.

Women

Provides an environment for members to connect, share experiences, and serve as a network for women at MSU.
