The Office of Inclusive Excellence offers many ways to learn about creating sense of belonging, serving all students, preparing for your career and more! Whether you are a student seeking to improve their career skills, a faculty member hoping to create learning for all, or a staff person who wants to help create an inclusive workplace, we have the right opportunity.

Please note that custom workshops should be requested 4 (four) weeks in advance, other listed workshops 3 (three) weeks in advance. 

Many students prefer online learning for its high-quality content and convenient delivery. We are proud to offer online foundational learning for classroom workshop requests, with an optional in-person follow-up to connect foundational learning to specific course outcomes.

Learning & Development

The Inclusive Excellence Education Certificate is awarded to faculty, staff, or students who participate in three (3) or more workshops or other intercultural learning opportunities over the course of one (1) semester and who engage in a reflective thinking piece. Participants gain a deeper insight into their own identities, how to create an inclusive campus climate, and how being able to work with a wide array of people can drive their future career success.

Recipients are furnished with limited-edition lapel pin, certificate, and Badgr credential for use in LinkedIn, professional websites, and email signatures. Faculty participants also receive a letter of participation for use in promotion and tenure applications.
